2500km in 2025 Challenge: March Review

2500km in 2025 Challenge: March Review

I always find March a tricky one to navigate. The reduction in light with a later sunrise combined with cold weather can make it hard at the best of times. Add the need for “make-up kms” and it could be recipe for disaster.

2500km in 2025 Challenge: February Review

February is the hardest month to achieve goals due to it being shortest and there just being less time. A few hiccups almost out me achiveing 200km for the month.

Gratitude Journal Day 14 – Hugs

Gratitude Journal Day 14 – Hugs

Today marks the end of the second week of my challenge to keep a gratitude journal through until the end of the year. I have noticed that over these two weeks I am beginning to observe smaller moments that I am stopping and enjoying amongst the hectic and stressful pace of life. Today’s three moments, I think, captures this perfectly.

Gratitude Journal Day 13 – Generosity

Gratitude Journal Day 13 – Generosity

Today I am grateful for the generosity that people continue to show towards me. This may seem a little cliche, but I want to especially focus on the small things: coffee for a meeting, authentic conversations, and open selfless actions for the benefit of others. Coffee for a meeting.Friday mornings we have our Pastoral Care […]

Gratitude Journal Day 12 – Setbacks

This week, some personal experiences combined with one of the books I am reading has made me reflect on setbacks, rejection, adversity, and bumps in the road of life and how we deal with these when they come along.

Features of the religious, political, social and economic conditions of life during the New Testament.

The New Testament presents the acts, teachings, Passion and glorification of Jesus Christ as its central focus and the beginning activities of the Church[1] in 1st Century Israel and the Mediterranean[2]. Exploring these times reveals a world of complexity and diversity in the conditions experienced by individuals and communities.

Means this week will need to be big - got to cover 80.1km. As I only run five days a week that means breaking down to 16km a day… not making it easy but let’s see how the week goes 🏃💪😮‍💨

Despite challenges, a trip to the emergency room and a few missed days due to soreness I managed to complete 200km. Just under the 209km needed to stay on track but the 15.3km on the final day got me to the 200 at least!
